Bathing has never been only about hygiene. Across cultures and eras it has held space for order, reflection and continuity — a fixed point in a day that rarely holds still.
This feature traces that thread through our own process: the decision to build every bar on fifty per cent virgin cold-pressed coconut oil, the small batches, the curing time that cannot be shortened, and the choice to leave out SLS, parabens and synthetic fragrance entirely.
What emerges is less a manifesto than a working method. Fewer declarations, select interventions, and objects that hold their presence through repeated, unremarkable use.
